Passwords and passkeys

Before you start

You need to be signed in.

Open Sign-in & security

Open the account menu in the top bar and choose Sign-in & security. This is /account/security.

Enter your passwords

Enter your Current password, then a New password, and confirm it. If you have never had a password, there is no current one to enter.

Save

Click Update password, or Add password if you didn’t have one. You see Password updated.

A passkey lets you sign in with your phone’s fingerprint, face or screen lock.

Staff change their password while signed in from:

If you forgot your staff password, you can’t change it yourself. See Forgot password or lost authenticator.

What you see	What to do
Enter your current password.	Type the password you use now.
The new passwords don’t match.	Type the same new password twice.
Your new password must be different from your current one.	Choose a new one.

A change-password screen for front-office staff and pharmacists was not found in the code. Ask your owner or admin for a reset instead.
