## Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Front desk: find or register">

  </Step>

  <Step title="Front desk: start the visit">

  </Step>

  </Step>

  <Step title="Doctor: see the patient">
    The patient appears on the doctor's **Today**. The doctor opens their own access to the record, usually a treatment basis, writes the note and signs it.

  </Step>

  </Step>
</Steps>

## Things to know

* The front desk never sees clinical notes.
* The nurse's access doesn't pass to the doctor. The doctor opens their own.
* If the patient has no phone, care still goes ahead. See [Patient without a phone](/workflows/patient-without-a-phone).
