# Emergency

> In an emergency, call 112. PHB's Emergency page helps you do that.

<Warning>
  If this is a medical emergency, call **112** now. PHB does not send ambulances.
</Warning>

## Steps

1. Tap **Emergency** in the sidebar or on **Home**. This opens `/emergency`.
2. Tap the call button to dial 112.
3. If you can travel, use **Go to the nearest hospital**.

## What you can do here

* Call 112 in one tap.
* Find the nearest hospital.
* If it isn't an emergency, tap **Book a visit →**.

## Things to know

* There is no in-app ambulance dispatch.
* A callback request is not for emergencies. If you choose emergency on **Request a call**, PHB tells you to call 112 and does not queue a callback.
* On USSD, choosing emergency shows: "Medical emergency? Call 112 now for an ambulance. Do not wait on USSD."
