# Book care

> Find a doctor, pick a time, and pay from your wallet or at the desk. Reschedule or cancel.

## Before you start

You need a PHB account. To pay from your wallet, you need enough balance. Or you can pay at the desk.

## Steps

    Tap **Care** or **Book**. This opens `/care`.

    Choose a need or a location.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a doctor and a time">
    Pick a provider, then a free slot.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm and pay">
    Choose how to pay:

    * **Wallet**: PHB holds the fee in your wallet. It is taken when the visit is confirmed.
    * **Pay at the desk · cash**: pay at the facility. No wallet balance needed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Done">
    Your booking appears under your appointments.

## Reschedule or cancel

Open the appointment from your list.

* **Reschedule**: free when it is well ahead of the visit. Close to the visit, a fee applies. The screen tells you before you confirm.
* **Cancel**: the hold on your wallet is released, or a refund is applied depending on how close to the visit you cancel.

If the doctor cancels, you get a full refund and a notification.

## What you can do here

* Book for yourself, or for a child you manage. Bookings for a dependent are paid at the desk.
* Join a waitlist and accept an offer when a slot opens.
* See referrals your doctor sent you, and mark one as booked or decline it.
* Snooze care-plan reminders or opt in to an annual check-up.

  Telemedicine, adding to your calendar, a check-in QR code and ratings are not available yet.

## Common problems

| What you see | What to do |
| - | - |
| **Insufficient** wallet balance | Tap **Top up wallet**, or choose **Pay at the desk · cash**. |
| The time was taken | Pick another slot. |
