# Hospital owner and admin

> Your guide as a hospital owner or admin: set up the hospital, invite staff, manage roles, prices, wards and beds.

This guide is for staff with the role `owner` or `admin` at a hospital.

## Before you start

You need:

* [ ] Your invite accepted. The first owner is invited by PHB when the hospital is created. Everyone else is invited by an owner or admin.
* [ ] Your work email, password and authenticator app. See [Staff sign-in](/account/staff-sign-in).
* [ ] Until your hospital is live, the guided setup. See [Set up your hospital](/guides/hospital-admin/set-up-your-hospital).

## Sign in

1. Go to `/hospital/login` and enter your authenticator code.
2. You land on `/hospital`.

## Your screen

* **Before go-live**, `/hospital` shows the guided setup card and a checklist: **Facility profile**, **At least one site**, **Departments & wards**, **Tariff catalog**.
* **After go-live**, `/hospital` shows the operations dashboard.
* The quick cards are **Configuration**, **Staff directory** and **Invite staff**.
* Owners and admins see every menu in the sidebar: Front desk, Operations, Staff, Configuration, Tariffs, Billing, Compliance.
* Items marked **Not available yet** are greyed out. See [Feature status](/reference/feature-status).
* Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) to search inside your facility.
